We're Hiring: Store Manager (Milan, Italy)

The Company:

Vicolo Via Mameli was founded in Milan, Italy in 2020, inspired by our love for quiet, beautiful alleyways tucked away from commercial streets, places where life feels slower, more intentional. What began as a small shop has grown into a multifaceted home goods company, now encompassing our Milan store, a thriving e-commerce platform, a wholesale business under our brand V.VM, and soon, a second retail location.

Rooted in the belief that less is more, we focus on simple living through quality over quantity. Nearly all of our goods are handmade, designed to be both functional and timeless, pieces meant to be used every day and kept forever. At Vicolo Via Mameli, we believe in creating welcoming, lived-in spaces where nature, craftsmanship, and care are ever-present. Our mission is to encourage thoughtful consumption and celebrate the quiet beauty of well-made things that stand the test of time.

The Role:

Join a growing lifestyle brand rooted in craftsmanship, quality and intentional living. We're looking for a Store Manager to lead our Milan location, someone to oversee all aspects of our retail stores operations, ensuring customer satisfaction and driving sales. Responsibility for the store profitability, inventory management and compliance with company policies and regulations. This should be someone who loves the beauty of simplicity, values quality over quantity, and can be a brand ambassador, acting with integrity, warmth, and confidence while always showing professionalism and care.

What You'll Do:

Lead the day-to-day operations of our Milan shop.

Provide exceptional customer service, build relationships, and act as a trusted advisor to clients.

Manage inventory, daily sales, POS system, and ensure all product data is up to date.

Oversee store presentation, change window displays, and maintain a clean, inviting environment.

Who You Are:

Experienced in sales, customer experience, or boutique retail — with a strong sense of ownership.

Entrepreneurial  skills, naturally organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple responsibilities gracefully, and keen on challenges.

Creative and visual — you enjoy merchandising, styling windows, and curating beautiful spaces.

Digitally savvy, confident using a MacBook, iPhone, POS systems and programs like Excel.

Fluent in both English and Italian - our clientele is international and communication is key.

Approachable, kind, and calm under pressure - you're the welcoming face of our brand.

What We Offer:

35-hour per week contract (INDETERMINATO)

Salary based on seniority.

A meaningful role in a growing brand with high potential opportunities.

A supportive, creative environment where your ideas and energy are welcomed and valued.
